- The girls often want to be held and cuddle and usually it is all three wanting it at once. Out of frustration one day I said, "OK, I will hold Mia for 5 minutes, then it will be Sophie's turn for 5 minutes then I will hold Gracie for 5 minutes." Now the girls run to me with the saddest face they can make and cry, "Mommy hold you 5 minutes....5 minutes please!"
- Whenever Sophie gets hurt she will come to you and say "Need medicine, I go to Dr." This girl is Queen of Medicine. Every little spot on her body she thinks needs medicine.
- All three of the girls love to hide. They hide from each other throughout the day.
- I love watching the girls interact with one another everyday. The following are some things I hear throughout the day:
"Move please Sissy!"
"Go Gades!"
"Sissy hurt!" (translation - Sissy hit me and hurt me)
"After night night??" (translation - Someone asks mommy to do something that I don't want to do right now and I will tell them later. They will always respond with "After night night?" and trust me, they will remember to ask me when they wake up.
"Color paper" (translation - I want to color on paper)
"Tato head night night!" (translation - Mr. Potato Head has gone to sleep - or - Mommy is tired of playing Mr. Potato Head and has put it up)
"Sophie did it" or "I did it" (Sophie gets very proud of herself when she accomplishes something and lets everyone know.)
"Happy Birthday to Bubba" (They have been singing Happy Birthday since their own birthday. The other day we were on our way to Cousin Bryan's b-day party and they started singing in the car and Gracie sang Happy Birthday to Bubba. I laughed and said "Who's Bubba?" My laughing made them laugh and ever since they think it is hilarious to sing it to Bubba, they crack themselves up doing it.)
Next we all ventured over to our church who was hosting an event. That's where Grandma & Grandpa met us, and as you can see from the pictures below, the girls had fun.
